What are Personalized, Specialized Heroine’s Journey Programs?

I first experienced the amazing power for healing and transformation that specialized, structured programs contain while in graduate school. I was struck by their profound potency for deep, lasting healing, transformation and growth; so much so, that I extended my Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program for an extra year, while I created and facilitated my first signature specialized, structured program for the women participating in my thesis research group.

Beyond conventionally crafted “high-end coaching programs”, each of my specialized, structured Heroine’s Journey Healing Programs go much deeper, and are thoughtfully, carefully, lovingly, and intentionally created systems to fulfill a Big Vision Intention, and to meet your needs addressed by that program. They are Divinely inspired while their system blueprints are being created, as well as when I facilitate them. At the heart and essence of each program’s potency for deep, lasting healing and transformation is the magic in the way I seamlessly interweave both the practical as well as the esoteric and spiritual~

All Heroine’s Journey signature personalized, specialized, structured programs are:

• Focused on Guiding You to One Ultimate Outcome.  They have an overarching “Big Vision” healing and transformational purpose and intention.  Within this Big Vision intention, we personalize the program to your needs and Desires. As holistic beings, women also receive many other healing and transformational results along the way.

• Depth oriented and educational.  We go deep to find the beginning of the hidden, invisible traumas and ways the Patriarchy Core Wound™ are at the heart of the challenges you are dealing with, and deep with the healing, solution and soul-growth.  At the same time, you will learn a ton about yourself that you likely never knew before.  You will also learn the basic Universal Laws and practical Self-care practices to support you in living in joy day to day.

• Safely held.  To function as a crucible, first and foremost, programs must be physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually safe.  Safety is of course, a fundamental human need.  Safety is also required so that we can look deeply and clearly at all parts of ourselves, including what we cannot see, beyond our conscious awareness.  Personal and relationship safety are also crucial to healing trauma and core wounds.  All of this is the rich and fertile ground where deep healing, transformation and soul-growth unfolds.  My programs are consciously designed to be exquisitely safe containers for women during their Heroine’s Journeys.      

• Spiritual and practical.   The spiritual level is the source of power and the creative life-force, and the beginning of creation.  Learning how to work intentionally with this power, and the spiritual creation process in your life, is the ultimate practical spiritual practice, and a central component of programs.

• Time-specific.  Programs in general are for a set time period.  Next steps, including how to continue working with me, are discussed at the completion of programs.  

• Unique and one-of-a-kind.  Grounded on solid foundations, I have uniquely created each specialized, structured program I facilitate. 

Why Do Clients Begin in a Personalized, Specialized Heroine’s Journey Program?

After over three and a half decades of guiding women in healing from trauma and core wounds, and transforming their lives and marriages, creating soul-satisfying love, and fulfilling their highest callings in the world, I have found the most effective container within which to do this is through signature systems of personalized, specialized, structured programs.  These are the reasons that I have had this policy for over 16 years now.

The quick and simple answer is that while my approach can be quick, while also being effective and amazingly deep, the healing and transformation process still takes time; and it still takes time to achieve your dreams.  The more complete answer is that we go to the root causes - the hidden, invisible traumas and core wounds - which are usually beyond conscious awareness, and often beyond this lifetime, for the concerns in a woman's life and relationships, and harness the unseen spiritual power for healing these invisible origins of women’s pain and struggle.

We then go beyond solving problems to guiding you to replace them with the foundation for new patterns of happiness, love and flourishing, and the soul-deep joy, fulfillment and meaning women are seeking when they reach out to me.  Accomplishing this level of healing and growth, and creating this new foundation, necessarily takes time, including time to create and become balanced in a new "set-point".  All growth happens this way.

The unseen spiritual power for success is encapsulated and operationalized by Universal Laws.  Learning the Universal Laws, and learning how to live them in our personal lives, in our marriages, and in other areas of life, is the second major component of healing and growth.  Doing this is foundational to claiming our Feminine Spiritual Power and learning how to become a conscious Co-creator of the fulfilling, joyful lives and marriages we dream of.  Gaining this spiritual proficiency is also foundational to being able to step into fulfilling our highest calling and purpose in life, which generally begins to open for women after the age of 40.  This is so important that if a woman only accesses the first part; that is, if she only finds and releases the underlying root causes of her challenges, WITHOUT learning how to consciously live the Universal Laws, the healing and change may not be complete and lasting.  It may not be as fully, optimally transformational as possible and as she Desires.

Universal Laws are principles of creation that apply universally. Just as the Law of Gravity, a Physical Universal Law, applies to everyone all the time, so the Spiritual Universal Laws apply to all people, across all cultures and times. Among the very first of these hidden, spiritual principles of power is the Law of Commitment. My policy of accepting new clients exclusively on a program basis, powerfully supports you to access the unseen spiritual power of the Spiritual Law of Commitment. I am supporting you to step up to a high level of commitment to yourself, to your marriage, and to achieving your heart's Desires and fulfilling your Soul’s highest calling for this life.

Is this psychotherapy?    

No.  The Specialized, Structured Programs I provide are not psychotherapy.  They are Trauma Healing Energy Therapy and Spiritual Life Coaching and mentoring.  You can learn more about The Sophia Method on the “My Approach” page.    

Will my health insurance cover my program? 

This is not psychotherapy; therefore, it is not covered by insurance.  All program fees are paid by clients directly to The Sophia Women’s Institute, per the specifics in their Client Agreement.

What about other 3-party payment sources?

Clients receive a receipt for their payments, which can then be given to a third party if they will be reimbursing.  All program fees are paid by clients directly to The Sophia Women’s Institute, according to the specifics in their Client Agreement. 

How long are programs?

Program length is specific to each program. In general they range from 3 months – 18 months.  The specific length of the program you apply for, is included in the written Heroine’s Journey Healing Program Invitation letter you will receive.

After I complete a program, can I continue to work with you?

Women at all stages of their Heroine’s Journeys are always warmly welcome in my larger community.  The best way to stay abreast and included is through joining my email circle, if you have not already done so.  At the completion of your initial program, we will talk about next steps, including how you can continue your Heroine’s Journey with my guidance, mentoring, and support.

What is the program investment?

The program investment and payment options are specified in the written program invitation you will receive after you request it.

Understandably, all program investments change periodically.  Once you are enrolled, your program fee is set, and will not increase for you through the enrollment period of your program. 

What are my payment options?

In general, program payment options include a pay-in-full option, and longer programs have an option for automatic monthly payments.  Some programs are paid in full at the time of enrolling.  Payments are processed through a private, secure, confidential client online portal.  I accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express, with the first payment made at the time of enrolling.
